A document of 1060 by the monk Othlo describing the life of S. Boniface mentions that he gave S. Thekla the locations of Kitzingen (Kitzingen) and Ochsenfurt. It is unclear how long a convent may have existed at this location, and Link thinks that the convent may never have had much importance for most of the focus was on supporting the neighboring convent of Kitzingen(Link, 571).
Portions of the convents goods may have gone to the Benedictine abbey of Neustadt on the Main, for the abbecy later held the church of Ochsenfurt.
More research necessary if possible
According to Link, this was one of the short-lived convents founded as part of the missionary activity of S. Boniface.
