This foundation of the penitential order of S. Mary Magdalene was founded in 1235. It presumably followed the Rule of S. Augustine and the constitutions of S. Sisto in Rome, as all other houses of this order did.

The Herzog-August-Bibliothek in Wolfenb├╝ttel contains a Passion from the fifteenth century, belonging to this community, #80.3. Aug. 2o (2787). It also possesses a manuscript with the incipit "stella cler." (1430/44), #16. 26. 6 Aug. 4o (3203); a manuscript with the incipit "Medela animae vuln." (15th c.), # 19. 26.7 Aug. 4o (3204); and the sermons of "Peregrinus" (1433), written by Herm. Scipel, #19. 26.9 Aug. 4o (3206).
