This miniature illumination on pergament depicts Christ enthroned with the lamb within a mandorla. Christ's right hand is raised in blessing. A text band emerging from Christ's throne reads: "ego sum qui sum."

This is one of the devotional images found beneath the floor boards of the nuns' choir in Wienhausen in 1953.

 
Descriptive Notes
