Description: The circular seal features a cross-surmounted architectural setting of a three gabled trefoiled arches. In the center is S. Peter, nimbed, holding a key in his right hand and a book in his draped, left hand. He is flanked by Aethelwold of Winchester (?), in bishop's miter and vestments, with his right hand extended and a crozier in left hand, and a crowned king or Virgin Mary or Aetheldreda of Ely, holding a book in her right hand and scepter in her left hand. Below, is a scene from the life of Aetheldreda of Ely, in which people are saved from a Flood. There are five figures, possibly including Aetheldreda, sitting in a boat on water, under arch.

Border inscription: S(IGILLVM) S(AN)C(T)I PETRI ET S(AN)C(T)E ETHELDRIDE VIRGINIS ET REGINE.
Inscription on rim: PETRVS ETHELDREDA MOLLIS SVB TEGMINE CERE ELY SECRETA CELARE SIMVL STATVERE.
