This antependium depicts Christ crucified in the center, surrounded by the Old Testament prophets and disciples, who each have banners. At the bottom of the antependium on the left is a scene of the nativtiy; on the bottom right is a depiction of Christ emerging from his sarcophagus. A nun climbs the ladder leading up to the Crucified Christ in the middle of the antependium. On each side of the antependium are four round medallions. The two on the left-hand side depict the Virgin Mary with Christ and the Angel Gabriel.
