Contributors Notes

Conflicting dates of the destruction of the monastery (1230) and communication from Clement IV (1266) may indicate that the flight to Nizza Monferrato (see "misc. info") took place after the destruction of the monastery, and that the communication from Clement IV took place in a second phase of the monastery's life. If so, the termination date for this second phase needs to be investigated. --MK
