Priveleges & Papal Exemptions

10 June, 1447: Pope Nicholas orders Bishop Osimo and the Abbot of S. John of Peneclaria to help them recover their goods (the order also applied to the house of S. Maria de Nova -- see record S. Maria de Nova).

Incorporated Communities

In the early 15th c., Bishop Astorgio degli Agnese united S. Bartolomeo, S. Agnese and S. Maria Nuova (see record S. Maria de Nova), since the first two had only a few nuns each and the last had insufficient building space. However, on 14 January 1444, Pope Eugenius IV separated S. Maria Nuova from S. Bartolomeo.
