Early Documents

1408 (March 8): Pope Eugenius IV ordered Bishop Bartolomeo of Todi to suppress the community, since they had only 2-3 nuns at the time, and those were not living in a laudable manner. This attempt at suppression, however, was unsuccessful, and the monastery remained in existence until 1486 (see "Incorporated By," above).
