Foundation Information:
This community of canonesses was founded some time before 1250 by the counts of Dillingen. In the thirteenth and fourteenth century it existed as a chapter of canonesses. In 1450 the community was dissolved by Pope Nicholas V.

Miscellaneous Information:
In 1465 the bishop of Augsburg used a portion of the income from the sale of the community to purchase liturgical books for his main chapel in Dillingen. The community church became a parish church.
