This community was founded in 1101 for nuns in Mangoldstein. It was moved to Donauwörth in 1110 and continued as a Benedictine (male) community. It is unclear when the community ceased to include women.
The majority of the extant literary holdings of the community appear to stem from the time of the male community. Only one fragmentary Missal dates to the tenth-eleventh century, when the community included women. It is held in the University Library in Augsburg, #I. 2.2o6. All other manuscripts from the fifteenth centuries are also held in the University Library in Augsburg.
