Saint Monenna(a.k.a. Moninne, Darerca) supposedly founded her first monastery of nuns at Faughart ca. 484, then moved to Beg-erin under St. Ibar, then returned north to Killeevy (see The Life of Saint Monenna by Conchubranus).
